One touch window not working on close

My front passenger window goes down on one touch but will not close on one touch, all other windows work fine.

Is there a way to reset the window?

I have tried search and RTFM.

Ian

i think you hold the switch down until the window is open and then hold the switch up until the window is closed.. ... - .- -.

Ian on some cars the reset technique involves just holding it in the up position for about 15seconds, like the sunroof one.

Give it a try and see if it works as its part of the anti snatch facility as well so best to make sure it all works as it should Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Anti-snatch Rolling with laughter wrong on so many levels

Anti-pinch or anti-trap is suggested as less comical alternatives!

I don't like anything that is anti snatch Laughing

I don't trust these finger safe windows, I dare you to try closing the window on your hand, I bet it has a fecking good go before it decides to back off. Discovery 4 HSE

Tried holding it up for 20 secs and tried holding it down, still the same.

The anti trap still works.

After pushing the up switch for a few seconds, release the switch then give it a short press to complete the reset Thumbs Up

Good luck

I'll be interested in the answer to this too. Mine does same only on front passenger side. All others work fine. Lloyd Barnes

Sorry guys mine fixed itself when we were away on holiday.

The only thing different was that I had to unlock the rear windows as we had people in the back seat so maybe the rears have to be unlocked for it to reset.

Have since found that my auto headlights stay on all the time and no auto wipe on the wipers.

Have to get it back to dealer soon.

Try putting your window down in one motion, hold it for a few seconds then straight back up in one motion and hold it at the top for a few seconds... Works most times for me...
