Coming in the week Two brave WPC's were murdered I think Andrew Mitchell should resign - zero tolerance I say Evil or Very Mad

I agree. I am led to believe that while at DFID he was almost universally disliked and showed an arrogant and domineering personality with no real thought to how his demands affected others, even in his team. Makes an ideal whip then!

Does the voting tell you anything about the LR you drive Confused

Currently 100% FFRR, 61% FL2 and 68% D3/4 members think Mitchell was out of order Thumbs Up

Only 28% of RRS members think so Shocked

The thing I don't get is why we pay people like him to be an MP? A millionaire businessman living in a £2m house with a GP wife and directorships in The City does not need an MPs salary. I'm fine with them being MPs, I'm not fine with spending money on their salaries that could easily go somewhere else for a better cause (and probably to better effect!).

As for his comments, the only "pleb" in the situation is him!
