Out of curiosity, how expensive is the Supercharged to run, I've never bothered looking into that side of things, i just drive it , fill it up , put it into Dealers when there's a problem with it ......... Thumbs Up

i used a fuel calculator and it workout just over £3000 a year, at present I spend about £1400 (and thats on a 3.2 V6 TT)

ps. if you did 'average' miles of around 12,000 a year - your looking at £4400 on petrol per year on the SC

I think thats what most FF owners do, I can't be bothered with such trivial matters as working out running costs Confused

2017 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Indus Silver

Full fat all the way, my next will be a TDV8 without a doubt that said I have the S/C now and it still makes me smile every time I put the foot down.

Running costs; I'd actually estimate that for my 10k per year I'm on about £100 per week fuel but I'm not a gentle driver and I seem to get on ok just handing over the debit card at the petrol station.

IMHO, If you either

a) sell drugs

b) play football for a living and sign cheques with a shaky X

c) want a disco in drag but eith less off-road capability

Then the RRS is perfect in every way (to be fair I was initially interested in the idea of a more dynamic driving experience in a 4x4 but the more research I did into the RRS the less likely it became I would own one- in no small part thanks to the wit, wisdom and previous experience of several top guys on this very forum!)

I know I can go on a shoot across all kinds of ground with three friends, tow a horse box and then head off to any upmarket hotel all in the one car (naturally after a bit of a wash for me and the car).

Seriously, my £0.02; put the pennies away and get a Full Fat TDV8 (oh and make sure that you get the back brake calipers checked I'm STILL waiting for a replacement)

Happy New year and a prosperous 2010 to all you guys! Thumbs Up
