Yes, indeed ouch. Running this morning to try and avoid getting drenched I managed to fall over and land on my Samsung Galaxy which was in the back pocket.

Been picking gorilla glass shards out of my backside which is desperately unpleasant I have to tell you. Note to self. When keeping phone in back pocket make sure it is glass outwards. (you can stop laughing right now Mick)

Suppose I'll have to find a new phone now then. More joy.

Great though painful excuse to get the S3 !!!! I am about to get one too (no such excuse though) but read the S4 is expected to come out Feb/March next year  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

The S4 stuff I thought was put down as rumour and no comment made from samsung.

Before you go ditching the phone ... have a look on the web for replacing the galaxy's screen ( looks like yours is an i9100 ). ITs not that hard as you may think ... and would likley cost you a lot less.

I replaced by smashed nokia screen recently for £80 ... worth a look eh? V8 or else ...

I did that to my iPhone - Apple replaced it for free

Yeah, so I could just order a replacement through work, but feel a bit bad about the cost. Besides, I might just get a S/H thing off the bay or summat. Doesn't have to be this flashy.

Tell you what though. The temporary Nokia 6021 I'm using has much better call quality. Had this in the drawer for years as a spare. Finally it came in useful BEFORE I chucked it

The daughter broke her S2 and I was quoted £80 for a new screen from CPW , but then the S3 appeared guess what won ....
