Frozen Doors & Windows

Here is one thing that never happened with the Disco3 in the cold.......

Unlock the car with the keyfob in the morning and pull the door handle, but the door wont open. The rubber seal at the top of the door is frozen to the paintwork. Shocked

It happens on all four doors and it takes a great deal of effort to unpick the rubber before forcing the door open. What's worse is if I've used the pre-heater, I'm standing outside freezing when I know that inside is nice and warm. Big Cry

Anyone else suffered this or is it just for us up here in the realms of minus double figures? The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

I get it all the time.

I posted same not so long ago.

Opinion was to spray the door seals with silicon

iv had this too very annoying smear vaseline round them or like said spray silicon that will stop it. the only way is up
