I replaced my work Blackberry with an HTC Desire C (small one).

I've noticed it saves every single image on every work email signature in the Gallery folder, and it's already in the hundreds. I deleted 450 the other day but its slow.

Anyone know if there is a setting that can be disabled? I can't find it Discovery 4 HSE

Are you using gmail or other email (I don't have that problem with gmail!) .

Just looking on my One X and assuming your using the native mail app the only setting I can see that might effect that is under general settings then attachment cache ? 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB

I saw that setting too but assumed that's for attachments? That's the main reason I ditched the BB cos you can't open attachments! Discovery 4 HSE

My old HTC Wildfire classed pictures in email sigs and stuff as attachments but didnt always download them.

I can see if i can dig the phone out later and give it a charge to bring it back to life as it was as flat as a fart last time i looked. Dent in the battery might be why! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Might be worth using a text only signature on the mobile and full signature on the Desktop. That's what I do.

That's not the issue Gaz, its not my signature, its the signatures on all received emails, its the images on any inbound email, so pics, screen shots, you name it, all saved. Discovery 4 HSE
