Off Road Toy

Well im thinking of something to enjoy offroading as while i love the comfort and ability of the FF,

After its £6.5k+ spend in the bodyshop over 2 weeks i dont wanna scrape it.

So im thinking of an SJ410 as a plaything. Simple enough to work on, dirt cheap and light as well.

Something like this...
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SUZUKI-SJ-410-4X...337b6dcbef

Ideally i'd probably rip the tiny petrol out and stick a diesel donk in so i can cut the running costs even more and have more low down drunt but just reading into this now, oh and it would have to be a hard top as well. dont fancy being any colder than i need to be in it.

No 90's or 110's as in this price bracket they will be dog ends.

A disco is tempting but again would probably need far too much work or look like an tin worms main course by now Sad

Any other possible suggestions or advice is greatly welcomed.

Price limit is £1k and no off road only rubbish please as it would be for green laning so needs to be road legal!
PS price includes buying and getting road legal if its sorn!! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

i did use to have the 250cc version was about £1200 i think, great fun, but yes but very limited weather wise the amount of times i got caught in the rain in it.
also ran out of places to take it in the end so got rid. You can paypal direct using - www.paypal.me/duckworthparts

Just spotted that Samurai as well Mick Smile

It seems well thought out as its like a pickup but you get some storage under the spare wheel/load area.

Just have to put stuff in water proof box'es i guess!

The udnerside doesnt look too bad, not far off what the FF looks like at the minute tbh!

Will keep a beady eye on that as it looks prepped for a winch as well up front Smile FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
