Hi Guys - As you may already know I recently purchased my first FF '07 Vogue SE TDV8 and have been enjoying my new toy greatly.

HOWEVER!

As I remember one of you chaps mentioned in a past topic I posted, words off warning that the bills will come rolling in!

So here's the thing in the first week I had a warning "Suspension Fault Max Speed 30MPH" - so i pulled over and it went off - GREAT ...... or so I thought.

UNTIL This week

The reversing camera and TV screen decided to become one singular entity and the screen was made up of horizontal black and white stripes and noisy interference that could not be switched off until left overnight.

The Sat Nav completely freezes when it feels like it and cannot be reset even after leaving a few hours.

The "Suspension Fault Max Speed 30MPH" is back on again and PINGS like a pinball machine. I tried playing with the mode knob thing near the gear stick and also the height settings but none of them respond.

Now a warning about a "Number plate light" has joined the mix - Which to be fair sounds minor!

HAS THE HONEYMOON COME TO A BITTER END or IS THERE A REASONABLE EXPLANATION? I've had cars with 'personality quirks' before but this one appears to be turning borderline psycho in 3 weeks!

Sorry to go on but as you can probably tell, I'm not that technically minded

Have you checked your battery ?? Low voltage is one of the main causes of this sort of mayhem in the FFRR. Have a search on the forum and you will see what I mean. Older batteries tend to have a lowish voltage and the FFRR does not like that AT ALL. Protest against such low voltage takes on these sort of guises  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!

Try to find out the battery age and if it is a few years old just change it for the biggest you can get. The straight forward voltage measurement does not always give the full picture as others on the forum have found out as well. Mine had issues with the battery, it was just getting old and after changing it my electric gremlins went (and on my car they were minor).

Do a little search on battery / voltage problems and you will see what we mean Also you will see all kinds of good deals on batteries that people have found around the UK  MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
