You made it yourself??

Looks great mate,

What would I be looking at if I wanted to purchase such a specimen?

It cost me about £220 to build. £120 was the movement, because I chose to use a good quality Swiss movement. I could have saved about £70 by using an equally good quality Chinese Seagull movement, but on this occasion I didn't!

They aren't hard to build, you just need some simple tools, a good set of magnifying loupes and plenty of patience.

I've built a few now - including a couple with Chinese movements - and it's very therapeutic!

Working on such tiny machines makes a nice change to working on the FF!

Where do you get the bits from? I'm looking to make one myself, but can't find a reliable source.

Well, cousinsuk.com for movements and other parts. I got the case, dial and hands from eBay seller sizzlinwatches. Another reliable eBay seller is raffles-time.
