What I am doing wrong here?

I disconnected the battery to re fit the new door lock. Connect the battery up again and now it won't start???
Is there a sequence of stuff I need to do?? Regards

check connections and make sure they are clean and tight..if that doesnt work then you might have a flat battery.. ... - .- -.
