Doesn't sound right to me no noise on mine as you describe. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

You shouldn't have any noises. We get quite a few split intercooler hoses on both banks but from how you describe it it sounds worse than that. I'd ask your independent to get the turbos for you on Tuesday.

Selling it with a noisy engine will lose some healthy cash. Probably better to persevere. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

We had one once on a RRS Tdv8 that had snapped an exhaust manifold stud behind the turbo. It only made the noise under load, using the smoke detector didn't help. In the case of this one we took the body off and lifted the engine so we could drill it out and retap the tread. You wouldn't be able to do that on the FFRR. You can see the back manifold studs from underneath the vehicle. Hope you get to the bottom of it.
