sat nav disc reader, which mark?

are there any threads which i have missed that explain the different marks of sat nav reader?
i have a 2007MY vse.
i understand that they can go up to a mark 4.
i know that it would be wishful thinking, but are there any upgrades such hard drive readers/better graphics?
cheers

if you're referring to the nav unit then you have the standard MOST type which is not upgradeable, but the nav disc/mapping is.. ... - .- -.
