Have you checked your battery ?? Low voltage is one of the main causes of this sort of mayhem in the FFRR. Have a search on the forum and you will see what I mean. Older batteries tend to have a lowish voltage and the FFRR does not like that AT ALL. Protest against such low voltage takes on these sort of guises MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Try to find out the battery age and if it is a few years old just change it for the biggest you can get. The straight forward voltage measurement does not always give the full picture as others on the forum have found out as well. Mine had issues with the battery, it was just getting old and after changing it my electric gremlins went (and on my car they were minor).
