It's offical - TDV8 is the ONLY FFRR to have.

The site is strangely quiet about last nights Top Gear Confused

One of the worlds greatest FFRR fans extolling the virtues of our beloved motors and yet nobody here is talking about it....... Shocked

"The Range Rover Supercharged is as pointless as the Audi Q7"!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

"The Range Rover TDV8 is now the only Range Rover worth considering - it even sounds better than the supercharged version"!!! Razz

Or were you watching paint dry instead........... Whistle

Discuss........... Thumbs Up The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile

Have just watched it on the BBC IPLAYER, all i can see is they have opted for the TDV8 due to the cost of petrol in the UK and MPG figures.

Don't know the price of petrol or diesel as i don't pay attention to the prices at the pumps , but how many FFRR owners fill up thinking about what it costs to fill their tanks.

5.0 SUPERCHARGED ..... Cool Cool

3.6 TD V8 .......... Neutral

Anyhow Petrol, Diesel still a FFRR ............ Thumbs Up

Maybe once i change from the SC to a TDV8 it might be a different story ....... Thumbs Up

please, can anybody post a link to that we can see a copy of Top Gear, I can't find it Sad

I am lucky enough to own both petrol and diesel RR's. The only time I smell diesel is when I fill up, but then again I can also smell petrol when I fill the petrol one up, its not as strong but you can still smell it - don't know what all the fuss is about over the smell of diesel.

The only time it may be irritating is if you get it on your hands or if you have a leak into the cabin - which shouldn't happen either way. Plus petrol or diesel is not good for the skin so I always use the free disposable gloves on the forecourt.

Agreed. Thumbs Up

I've never noticed any sort of 'smell' from my TDV8.

Admittedly, if you stand at back when the engine is running there is a whiff of something, but the same goes for a petrol motor - just a slightly different smell.

Besides, I much prefer to be in the driving seat when the engine is running. Mr. Green The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom Smile
