my 4.4 has 280 on the cap as well "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

Ok, I think this deserves a post as it may help someone else with the wrong expansion tank cap on their 4.4 V8 BMW engine (2003-2005).

from memory its the lower one for diesels and the 200 for petrol...do a search ,its on here somewhere.. ... - .- -.

maybe a pm to dan [duckworths] might help or hopefully someone with the same engine will take the trouble to look at theres and report back ,if there is any markings that is.. ... - .- -.
