hi to everyone.im a newbie to the rr forum so this might have been answered elsewhere.anyhow here goes.ive purchased a 2003 4.4v8 lpg autobiography.love the motor,but not keen on the non touch screen and the lack of television.is it possible to put a new double din dvd/dvb-t,dvd cd player head unit in situ of the old one.alternatively does anyone know if anyone in hampshire(im in southampton)can upgrade my tv from analogue to digital.ultimately im after a decent multimedia package.i have a budget of around £700.i have a harman kardon logic 7 system.any help would be greatly appreciated or recommendations on where to go .regards in advance to those who reply.tony

i have a 2004 FFRR, i have just taken out my analogue tv tuner module and replaced it with a digital tv tuner and it works great . i get all the digital freeview chanels, see below for details( i bought the digital tv tuner from ebay (£195) its a straight take old tvtuner module out fit the new one.

just changed my analogue tv tuner for a hybrid tv tuner, on my 2004 vogue, it was a straight swop, no modifications , works great, only took 5 mins ( got the hybrid tv tuner from a bmw 2005 3.0 diesel.) bmw part number 65 50 6966 615

heres the part numbers for tv tuner modules you need any hybrid tuner from section 1,so you can have digital tv
Video Module (TV module) part numbers are of the form 65 50 x xxx xxx.
These units can be installed in I-bus cars such as the ange rover upto 05 preface lift e38, e39, e46, x5, x3, z4 but NOT I-drive cars such as e65/66, e63/64, e60/61 and e90/91.
The part numbers start with the most recent I have found at the top of the list . I have seen many of these units on ebay and the remaining ones are from the BMW ETK disks.

Section 1 contains the hybrid analog/digital units.
