New Zealand 2010 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Galway Green
From an Australian FFRR TDV8 review (2011 model).

SAD news from Sydney this week as a V8 Range Rover squashed a Prius on the Princes Highway. No one was injured but the fact the Range Rover cruised the highway for 82km at 110km/h and averaged a stunning 5.3 litres/100km - including slowing for traffic congestion - shows new engine technology is catching hybrids napping.

You got to love this guy for this quite controversial statement !! Can you imagine running this car on B100 Biodiesel, outperforming a Prius on environmental friendliness even more Very Happy Laughing Thumbs Up Rolling with laughter Bow down MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I've been using B100 for a fair while now and even mixed in some 2 stroke (no real effect as my journeys are changing too much to make sure) and i pay roughly 34% less than the cheapest pump price for diesel within 30miles Smile , smells nicer and doesnt smoke anywhere near as much as pump stuff Smile

If they approve it for even 30% use of the B100 to EN standard it would be a massive improvement as technically you wouldn't emit CO2 as it is absorbed during the plants growth.

Weight that against a Prius thats already been round the world once or twice.... FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I don't think many Greenies will ever drive FFRRs on biodiesel but it will be great to show them the numbers, compared to a Prius and the likes Smile

When we move to NZ, I am most definitely going to drive a biodiesel (90% WVO and 10% tallow) with a claimed 80% reduction of emissions compared to dino diesel Smile

Hats of to you for doing the biodiesel thing by the way KP !!! MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
