Can you get a cheap voltmeter and check the battery voltage ?? Also, disconnect the battery for 10 mins to reset everything. Are you sure your key is OK as in the battery in it is fine (does it open and close the doors ??). MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

I would bet good money your alternator's goosed. Mine did EXACTLY this, on my way to a job interview no less. No warning, no red light, just a crap load of errors followed by changing to 4th gear and staying there until the last thing to die was the fuel lift pump, which was game over.

Have you double checked it is correctly in Park? Even if it appears to be, move it into drive, and back into Park, if you're getting nothing at all, then it's probably that the car believes that the safety criteria for starting the car have not been fulfilled. It's happened to me before! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining! |

Wouldn't stop the gloveboxes opening Boz. Only lack of electrons will do that. |

Missed that when I read about the problem, wow, does the glovebox really need current to open? Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining! |
