Hi All,

I am getting the following codes relating to suspension fault.

5A20 Unknown
C132 Lost communication with ride level control module

Any ideas?

Also getting the following random codes.

9A56 Unknown
9D57 Unknown

9A05 Speaker 5 circuit: Which speaker location are these?
9A06 Speaker 6 circuit

As general info (happy already received a PM from engineer Patrick):

Code definitions for
5A20: Pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir

This fault can appear after using the test valves and/or deflate functions of the IIDTool. It can also appear when lots of height changes are done successively. Before starting to investigate, clear the fault first and see if it comes back shortly after being cleared (drive the vehicle normally for a few days).

C132: Lost communication with ride level control module

Lost communication errors are frequent and rarely need attention. They help diagnose a system when there is a real connectivity problem (does not seem to be the case here). Again, clear and observe.


Patrick's info on the speakers:
For your speakers issue, I spent some time this morning to see what speaker is associated with what number.

The following are for the Logic 7 system.

9A05 Speaker 5 circuit: Low Range Rear Left Door
9A06 Speaker 6 circuit: Low Range Rear Right Door

The low range speakers are the one at the bottom of the doors (black grill).


The following is from our FAQ that will eventually be published on our website:

When investigating this issue (speakers not working), we found wires under the driver’s seat that were rubbing on a metal plate and shorted to ground via this plate. We also found the same issue under the passenger seat.

I should add that I got the fully detailed response from Patrick SO quickly, staggering service.

I've cleared the compressor fault and will see what happens when I go for a drive later.

I will be checking out my speaker errors very shortly too

Wow, I don't think they put enough wiring under the seat.

What can you tell me about these fault codes (I have emailed Patrick too but no reply as of yet):
5131 air supply
5A00 control

I keep getting the air suspension locking in normal height and these faults flag up. The control one specifically never clears. The compressor seems to be pressurising fine but the car is v v slow to rise and then the compressor overheats and cuts out. Any clues from these codes???

On a UK car it's worth noting that the wiring nest is under the passenger seat. Probably also worth mentioning that I have the two upper speakers in the rear doors not working but the wiring under the seats was OK. Need to look at the plugs on the amp etc but not quite sure where to start  Geoff

I constantly get 9A11 code coming up on mine - I clear it but it comes straight back, from above, it says its the front centre speaker.

The Logic 7 still sounds amazing though  Stolen / Gone: 2006MY Supercharged LPG Autobiography - Zambezi Silver with Sand/Jet/Jet Oxford Leather.....

Hi Tom,
It sounds to me as if your compressor may be on it's last legs. I'll check more tomorrow, though.

Great write up. I have the dreaded loss of the rear mid-range speakers ( Codes B1A01 & 2)

If I'm to investigate for chaffing of the speaker cables, which side is most likely, passenger or drivers side, on a right hand drive car?

If I've understood this post correctly, I should start my investigation on the passenger side.

Hi John,
No, you'll need the driver's side if you have speaker probs on the same side of the vehicle (RH). Generally the electrics/electronics remain on the same side of the vehicle for both LHD and RHD - aside from the switches and controls obviously.

Many thanks I've lost both sides, so it looks like both front seats have to come out
