No, my TD6 was on the 2007 chassis, as when I was looking at TDV8's the dealer checked, as it was going to be cheaper to change over the towbar than buy a new one, if my TDV8 did not have one.

Also my Sat Nav was of the later type, touch screen type. I do know the differance, as a friend of mine has the earlier type.

Upgraded front lights / grill also.

Yes, but chassis definition is not the same as MY.

MY are just, generally, small changes. There are, in ''silent'' mode, MY's for all LR's from 2003 till 2010. You've got a 2003, a 2004 a 2005, etc...
MY's are more a thing of americans, who though they should change cars, even minimally, every year, so that they could sell some more for just those guys who wanted to have the latest wood trim, etc. available. In Europe, that concept is not much used.

In LR's case they just name MY's as a selling point when there are some significant changes to the car.

In fact, chassis wise, 2007, 2008 2009 all have the same chassis as a 2006 or 2005, just minor tweaks here and there. Most mechanical parts are interchangeable, but not, in the case of a 2007MY, dash parts. The woods won't fit, for example, but others will. You could put the tdv8 brembos on a 2006 td6.

Gotta step in and add my 2cents: MY 2006 RRs came with the touch screen - and had the 02-05 dash. And the TD6 motor. Bring a RR with a TDV8 and the old dash or the new dash and a TD6 and you'll have a rarity. Nothing confusing, confounding or exciting about it.

Will start that job immediatly, and then I'll create a site named www.l322(2).com where I'll put some pictures of some off-spec RR's imitating on the outside the newer cars. Maybe even take a P38 chassis and cover it with a l322 shell. Now that would be neat... Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
