Should I have Bluetooth?

Hi , I have a 2007 vse, but when I press the telephone buttone next to the screen it says no telephone found. Does this mean that I do not have Bluetooth module?
If not, is the BMW unit still the best one to go for?
Cheers

I don't know about the standard unit but have you tried synchronising your phone to the car, get the phone to search for Bluetooth devices? There's normally a pass code you need to enter as well. Wink

OK, yes you should have it. For 100% confirmation, in the NSR cubby (in the boot) you should have a black Nokia module, normally bolted on the top of the cage.

Anyway, when a phone isn't actually connected you will get that message. Do a bluetooth search from your phone with the car's ignition on. When the phone finds it, which it should, the code is 2121.

EDIT. Top module in this photo.

TDV8 Vogue SE Adrian. Deffo has bluetooth. Was standard on Vogue upwards. Only model where it was optional was the HSE, and most of those had it. Thumbs Up

Dom.

PS. You got an open license on the FM for L322 by any chance ?

I thought that this was the case when i bought mine but didnt realise that you had to sync it from the phone not from the car.

It should be there and once set up will connect automaticaly. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
