It will be the big E-Stop to save the gearbox when it goes wrong - just like every other gearbox fitted to Range Rovers You would have thought that in this day and age they could get a gearbox that lasts ! Bring back the LT 95 |

I think the E-stop is there as a lot of the software is under development still (I assume) so when that goes haywire there is nothing like a good hardwired E-stop to stop the electrons wreaking havoc on the mechanics These cars are quite experimental when they start of I guess and while getting better sorted they will still have some "issues" from time to time until the software is proven to be solid (that is as solid as software can get in this day and age )

Sorry Mick, I think you are missing the point, obviously you are not blonde enough to get this problem. I was thinking of the archetypical peroxide Barbie-Plastie persons that JimRR was on about, the shine a light in one ear and see it come out of the other ear people MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

The back end overhang and boot lid is clearer in those as well showing the bootlid to glass overhang/bulge is silly, like a shelf and the departure angle the car can attain is going to be a good few degrees worse than current such a same they didnt see fit to put the wheels that further back or to stop making the car stupidly long...
