Yep. in the top corners the main top rubber finishes @ 1 inch before the side pillar, then there is another rubber in the corner in line with the roof rail. I can lift this up and not only feel but see the top of the screen. No wind noise and no leaks though. HTH.

Wind noise often caused by the side pillar covers not going back on properly, also check that the scuttle at the bottom is properly fixed and sealed .

I had exactly the same with National Windscreens. Their fitters were shockingly bad. However, after multiple attempts to fix the windscreen that had been fitted wrong, they agreed to pay a Land Rover dealer to fit a new screen. So their customer service was at least very good! |

I think I've narrowed down the snafu to the middle of drivers side at the top. Pretty sure its a bad seal up there. Will find out soon enough, I'm going to watch closely what they do on the repair. Thanks all. |

I fit at least 2 of these windscreens each week you have to be extremely careful on the positioning of the screens and also the top trim if they are not located within 2-3mm of the the correct position they lead to terrible wind noise and also looks unsightly with top trim not reaching rain gutter trims. Personally I only get Pilkington glass for these jobs as it seems to be the only one that fits good. As other people have said always make sure that they replace all the clips on the A pillar mouldings with genuine and check that scuttle panel is secured properly with wipers in correct position. I have had to go out and rectify quite a few of these jobs that large national companies have done the problem is that their fitters are very time constrained and don't have the time to take their time and do the job properly. My advice stand and watch and ask as many questions as you want if they are a competent fitter they should be more than happy to oblige. |
