Germany 2017 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Carpathian Grey

Wow. german language..., but I like the english language, because I was so bad in school, 40 years ago.., now I read the whole day about british cars in british language, very good to learn technical english, and sometimes I have telefoncall with 4x4island for order parts (I belive, the best parts for good price and 10 GBP delivery for 30kg one day to germany is a good offer), it becomes better and better... L405 SDV8 2017 + Lancia Flavia Coupe 1964 + RRS L494 3.0 SDV6 + C220CDI Convertible 2021

@47p2. It's a german phrase ( as wel as a film apparently) which equates to don't let the b@stards get you down. Thumbs Up

Me too, weird suspension behaviour!

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I do have a similar yet worse issue with the Td6 I have on long-term test drive (eval for purchase):

1. After 36 hours in the garage, the front of the car was bottomed out. It did not go up quickly; took several minutes to come off the bumpstops, then nearly 10 minutes to rise fully. The rear was also quite low but came up faster. This worries me.

2. The right rear (RR) suspension makes squeaking noises over bumps large and small. And RR also leaks audibly at times. Up in the field behind our house with the suspension up on high, I heard a few good blasts of air escape when the suspension was cycling over low-speed bumps. This worries me too.

3: Raised fully, the RR seems to stay a tad lower than the other three corners. But at normal ride height, all corners are the same.

Off-hand, I'd say that the car may have one or more rather big leaks, starting at the RR. Additionally, the compressor may be tired from working to overcome the leak(s). Can I get an "amen" from this august body? Reno, on assignment in France.

Airbag or pipework leaks in that area, plus now an over-worked compressor. Put into off road height, then go and manually lift the car on that corner at the wing - any hissing? .

Yes in fact I just did a little gravel tamping. I set it up to full height, then heard hissing at the LF, after which the front went down an inch. My son was standing on the right side and he thought that the hissing came from the RF. Reno, on assignment in France.
