Inside the speedometer of my Westminster there is a green triangle with the image of a vehicle viewed from the rear. All other symbols clear on start-up expect this one and I cannot find any reference to it in the handbook. So in order to embarrass myself again to day could someone please point out the blindingly obvious reason for this symbol.

Correction, I'm far too old to get embarrassed any more so any and all replies welcome.

That's the forward alert light.

Check on page 105 of the manual.

You can turn it off via the vehicle set up menu - or adjust the sensitivity when cruise is off.

Many thanks Rolo, your answer was spot-on.

That explains why after pressing every button on the dashboard the symbol stubbornly refused to go out. Actually I've had the "Forward alert" warning flash up a couple of times so maybe set too sensitive.
