I would hazard a guess that any good computer repair shop could probably fix the drive, if that is all it is....., but when you have spent that money, it may as well be worth getting a replacement or an upgrade to MkIV .

What is the part number for that, and is it a direct replacement? Any s/w upgrade required on head unit? Hey Pedrochellie - How come its for sale? Did you upgrade? Seems a lot of money to me. FFRR 2003 Vogue V8 |

Hi, yep I upgraded to the MK4 - straight forward plug and play although you do need to check that it has the latest firmware and disc - there's a good seller on ebay I bought mine from for about £300. I would recommend the upgrade as you get better graphics (on the radio/CD etc too!) and the sat nav is much better, split screen, better views etc and you can get postcode search and speed camera alerts.
