it does sound like the wiring somewhere could be broken ...you could download/view RAVE [link in wiki] and try and follow the wiring ...i would concentrate in the spoiler area as that's the only place that has been messed about with...


as for the dvd problem, Question ... - .- -.

Update - 8 hours with Landrover tech support

Turns out they had to reset the instrument ecu and engine ecu to the "generic" one for my model year. This was because of the changes that I had made to the CCF files in the ECU and the camera simply would not engage.

Resetting these to factory spec made the difference. Camera works now.


I would suggest that the right path here is to download and save the current CCF files, and go compare them to a RR that is working - you will see what the problem is then.

Im also guessing that you have a region code error with your DVD? Maybe the unit thinks its in a different DVD region?

I have learned my lesson with these cars - back up any data file before editing as really bad things can happen. 2008 HSE B. Grey
