Wouldnt that affect where they stop when you turn them off?

hhhmmmm, the plot thickens....i suppose thats a very valid point, no harm in trying though and if it 'wipes' the extra bit and doesnt stop right at the bottom it could be a compromise.......your point also makes me think that the wiper motor might worn a bit... ... - .- -.
