I want to change the sill scuff plates on my RR but don't know how to remove the old ones. Any help please?

Warm them up with a hairdryer for 10 minutes or until you can start prising them away. You just need to heat the adhesive tape underneath you see. Likely that some will stay on the paint and it's a bitch to get off!

You just need elbow grease! Discovery 4 HSE

hi, what are we trying to remove, the tred plates or sill scuff plates, i just removed my tred plates to have them polished, they have to be stripped as they are anadised but when polished come up lovley, they are held down with plastic clips and need a good tug to get them up as were the sill covers are stuck down,

Cheers guys I'll try the mrs' hairdryer!

Do you think this might remove some glue that is on the doors from where the plastic door protectors used to be?

I got most of it off but there is a tiny annoying bit left on there!

Try T Cut, that's good for getting rid of glue.
