Just bought first FFRR

Saved £11k on new vogue. Pre reg 8 miles on the clock. I'm happy, beats my previous LR3 and freelanders.

Pity I'd didn't get dual view. Can I upgrade?

France 2013 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Causeway Grey

Congrats with your new car! Some pics?
I looked at a 4.4 TDV8 Autobiography (French spec) which didn't have dual view and the dealer (official LR in Paris) told me you can't upgrade as you need to change the whole system and it would be very expensive.
I don't know if this is true but this is what he told me anyway.

Yep, its a nice bit of tech but my TV doesn't work well on the move which defeats the object of DV in the first place 2011 Vogue SE

It is useful when my little boy is watching a DVD in the back and keeps saying "what's that mummy" and then his mum can answer because she can see it from the front passenger seat on dual view.

United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Santorini Black

Saw 4 new ones in convoy this morning coming out of Coventry on the A46 without their disguises (bronze, two black, silver). Other than the headlight running lights they were not distinctive on the road in the same way that the Evoque was last year I.e. you can tell they are a FFRR but the their passing image is not too dissimilar to the current RR.

Having taken a look at the new specs and prices over the weekend and discovered that a new TDV8 Vogue SE will set me back the best part of £90k - a £20k hike on the L332 New price - I think I'm going to upgrade to a 11 plate for now because they have already lost the best part of £20k in the first year. There are also some low mileage 12 plate Westminster's being offered for £10-15k less than new.

I have a low mileage immaculate 2007 3.6 TDV8 being priced for PX this week if anyone is interested before the trade guys get their hands on it Wink

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Orkney Grey

I've gone for a new Westminster now 'cos: -

Our current cars go back on Friday this week so now is the perfect time to get a RR if we're to have one
This L322 is the last-of-the-line so arguably should be the most reliable and sorted
    I get a 4.4 V8 (ok, it may be a diesel, but it's still a V8.)
I got an offer I couldn't refuse to have this RR
If I had wanted an RRS lookalike, I'd a have bought an RRS
I actually prefer the interior of the L322

Also, IMO the L405 appears to have lost the 'English countryside chic' of the L322 in favour of its 'international city bling' - not my cup of Luddite tea, but I have no doubt it will sell like hot cakes - although having said that, I welcome its arrival since for me, it couldn't have come at a better time - it has allowed me to get my L322 which I most likely would not have considered had the arrival of the L405 not directed my gaze towards RRs 2012 FFRR Westminster Orkney / Ivory and absolutely no pimp-glass!

Many thanks for the interest in my FFRR today. I have now agreed a favourable trade with a dealer on an 11 plate Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8 with 10k miles, an ex. LR management RR - pick up on Friday.

There are some great deals out there on 11/12 plates at the moment Wink

Be REALLY careful with Land Rover Management cars. They are not all driven by Execs. Its a fleet operator also and so you see Land Rover Assist cars, development cars and hire cars going through the same channels. All dealers can access these cars through LR dealer auctions. Do your homework and don't rely on it being loved!!! 2011 Vogue SE

Thanks. I'm buying from the dealer I have bought my last 3 LR's from so hopefully they won't want to sell me a pup.

Having said that I've had a good look at it today and it seems really clean. No marks externally and hardly used inside. It has a detachable tow hook that is unused. Spare is brand new. Anything else I should be looking for?

It comes with more than 18 months LR warranty/assistance which hopefully should insure against any abuse causing mechanical issues.

Picked up my 'new' MY11 Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8 up tonight. Absolutely immaculate and a big step up from my MY07 3.6 TDV8 in so many ways (which remains one of the best vehicles I have ever owned including a new 10 plate S-Class). The MY11 has lost £20k since new and cost £40k less than the equivalent L405.

Can also recommend the dealer if anyone is buying.
