Looks very similar screen layout to Evoque.

It does but i get the feeling they would make the whole thing touchscreen which would be nice but im not sure how well it would stand up to being mashed by fat fingers and heavy handed sorts when it gets to a few years old....

When you really blow up Red Desserts link you can see how many of those panels are screwed on , and the tailgate is one piece , then again that may be another bolt on panel ….

It wont go all touchscreen ... remember the ethos that controls on the RR can be used with gloves on ... many touchscreens dont work with leather gloves.

Plus, it would require looking at the screen to see where you're pressing. muscle memory works better and you can reach and touch a button without having to stare, you know what the heater control *feels* likes so you just need to reach and feel for it.

Not sure if I like the evoque style curvy dash ... its lost the RR's edgyness and become another softcurve interior. V8 or else ...

The disappointing thing in those pictures is the height of the centre console - it's much higher than the existing car, much more like the Sport (and everything else) which will change the feel of the interior considerably:

I quite like the exterior but the interior looks very ordinary and not very tasteful (white steering wheel?!) and no individual fold-down armrests which are a Range Rover trade mark! The interior looks very euh... chinese!

i really do beleive they are going to ruin a tradition of the original range rover. most if not all car manufacturers are going down the route of this in your face recent styling not thinking about a timeless classic shape like they used to have.

I have seen some opinions on here about the evoque and i agree it already looks average, 2 more years and it will look like an old trinket box that no one will want to use.

I am not saying the styling is bad but it doesnt have that sense of purpose about it. a sports car should look like a sports car, a 4x4 should look and drive like a 4x4, a saloon should be a saloon.

i like the crossovers etc etc but it looks like these days that each car is a big orgy of all types of cars its just stupid.
