3 Mobile contracts

A few friends are on the same contract as me "one plan" and currently costs £35. A few friends have received txt's/emails from three telling them the tarrif is increasing buy £1.25 as of next month. Can they do this as they have signed a contract at a price? I would have thought they couldn't do this untill the contract was due for renewal? [img]http://www.fuelly.com/driver/rob2529/range-rover[img/]

Yep, they can. It's in line with RPI (Retail Price Index).

If they are worried just send them to : http://www.three.co.uk/pricechanges

While we know a price increase is never welcome, this is the first time that we've ever raised the price of our Pay Monthly phone contracts and we're confident that your plan still represents excellent value for money.

I changed to a sim only contract about 5 years ago and my monthly bill is around £20-£24. I just buy a new phone when I need one, none of this keeping up with the latest styles and having to work out how to operate new fangled gadgets
