England 2007 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey
2007 Vogue Global Closing

Hi, I'm new so please be gentle, I've just bought my 1st range rover vogue on a 57 plate & after reading some of the comments on ff I booked in at stratstones (where purchased) and asked them to turn on the auto locking on drive off, re lock after 2 mins if opened by accident etc, etc which they did for £30 quid. But didn't switch on the lazy opening/closing feature or seat to key memory & told me that my car wasn't equipped with the feature could someone out there clarify for me because after having bmw 5 series, ford mondeo, vauxhall vectra, all with global closing you would think a prestige vehicle like a range rover vogue would have Many Thanks Paul

P.S Just got back from dealer with highlighted print "In some markets, some of the functions in the vehicle memory are blanked out due to marketing and statutory requirements" I think somethings wrong & they don't want to correct, can anyone tell me if it's standard on this vehicle?

take it you mean that the windows shutting etc when you hold down the lock key?

will try on my 2008my tdv8 to see. never used it on the old 5 series which used to do it as you say. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Mine didn't do it but the latest firmware on the IIDTool has allowed me to activate it.

Hold button down locking any open windows shut, hold button when unlocking all windows open. Geoff

At least they only charged you 30 quid, Hunters of Brock charged me £100 plus VAT just to turn on auto locking when in motion it was that what prompted me to buy the IIDTool. I asked them to activate the last locking/unlocking and they said they had - but they hadn't.

As I said I just turned it on and it works, although mine is a 56 plate, 2007 TDV8 so slightly earlier than yours. Geoff

My 2005 TD6 had it, hold down the remote unlock and it would open the windows and sunroof and hold down the lock and it would shut everything, didnt need a dealer visit for it. Current 2010 Vogue SE, Stornoway Grey with Storm Leather,Deployable steps, Vision Pack

My previous 2003 TD6 hasd it all......

My previous 2007MY SC had it all.......

My 2012 Westminster has it all.

So obviously if its a UK car it should have it all. Thumbs Up If you have nothing nice to say,say nothing at all.

To reset global opening / closing all you have to do is close all windows and hold the drivers switch up for 11 seconds then lower drivers window and hold down for 11 seconds.

I tried this - doesn't work. Big Cry I guess you need this function enabling in the CCF, which means either paying up at the stealers or for something like the IID tool Sad

Annoyingly, my P38 had full closure option but the L322 doesn't!
