problem with that is my mum would have to watch what my dad wanted, and another sub isnt an option. |

BTW I supply that information on the basis that the VPN user is a UK TV licence payer and therefore entitled to watch UK TV programmes. |

there's loads of cheap/free VPN services out there, download and go, nothing too taxing.

I use a SQUID proxy when working overseas. Works like a champ and the only client settings are web proxy ones. |

how does squid work? do you have to set up something at home and remote in or is it a mask for the IP? |

Your dad can easily watch iplayer by subscribing himself with a vpn service while travelling for abroad. Currently I am using PureVPN to get access to specific region content that canno be accessed abroad. |
