I use Admiral for a multicar policy and they are good. No quibbles over claims but they do try it on at renewal time. Each year they quote me more than a "new customer price", so I ring up, argue for 15 mins and then get 10% off the new customer price (although this failed in 2009, so I just didn't renew and just took a new policy out online for the "new customer price"). Their compulsory excesses aren't the kindest, but you easily save more than them in your annual cost.

Good to hear, As they are the same price I can just switch between the two each year if that becomes a problem |

Be careful as Elephant and Bell don't have the same package as Admiral. I'd just do what I do and not renew, then sign up as a new customer. It's basic contract law and there's nothing in the T&C's against it.

They should be ok but some are 10 month policies and they say they give you another years discount after the 10 months. This is fine if you want to stay with them but if you did want to move to another insurance company then you will find that some do not accept the no claims discount.

I'm with Admiral for the multi car policy. Good cost saving and the legal services are good at chasing after third parties who don't admit to driving into my 3 series that was parked at the time they were cheaper than previous quotes. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."
