connector under driver’s seat (heating and SRS warning)

My driver’s seat heating never worked; when pressed, the button would light for 5 seconds and then stop. All other seats worked fine.
Yesterday I looked under the seat and checked the big connector. It seemed like the heating plug (the one with the thickest wires, going towards the seat) was not plugged firmly. I pushed it, reassembled and the heating started working! But I noticed the SRS (airbag) warning was lit in the dash, so I unplugged again, checked the connections, removed the battery terminals, etc. Nothing worked, the warning is on all the time and now the heating is not working anymore again! I even cleaned the contacts with contact cleaner... I suppose a visit to the dealer is now the only solution...
