What are they worth?

What would a set of genuine Supercharged 20" wheels with 4 x Continental Cross Contacts (all with 6.5-7mm) be worth do you suppose?

Any ideas? Idea Question Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

Why is it that only 24 hours AFTER I agree to sell my FFRR to Gary, a set of 20's comes up for sale...???? Graham

Don't worry Graham - they're not actually for sale...as I just said to Gary I have to admit I was just kicking the tyres (pun intended) to see what they're worth.

The wheels are as new (they were refurb'd before I picked the car up less than 2 weeks ago, so they're all unmarked) and the tyres are 6-7mm all round on OEM spec Contis.

I was toying with the idea of a set of 22" inch Stormer or Super Sport replicas with cheaper tyres (Toyos probably) which are coming in at circa £1,500. I wasn't sure on value at all, but given that these are OEM LR wheels with 90% tyres (that on their own cost over £300 per corner) I was wondering if I was getting close to a straight swap money-wise.

If Gary's £600 valuation is about right then it appears I'm miles away! If I could've done a straight swap it may have been more tempting, but I don't like the idea enough to plough £900 into it!

To be honest, I'm totally torn when it comes to 22" wheels...one minute I love the idea, the next I think I want to keep the car 100% factory. Embarassed Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

I've had my 22's off the car for ages, but they are currently being refurbed & should be back on the car soon. It's a personal thing really, always have the purist point of view that it is abosolute sacriledge but life would be pretty boring if we all had the same point of view.BTW 22's look do bichin man! Will post pics when on, maybe get a 22" rim fanciers section on the forum? Whistle
