Cv boot kits..

Looks like the passenger side front cv is letting grease out so it's time to get it swapped!

Now seeing as the full shaft is £300 and the cv kits are about £50 how had is it to replace one?!!

I'm guessing wheel off, disconnect lower wish bones, pull hub away from car and try to keep the diff end connected, then gut the old one away?!?

Has anyone done this yet?!? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

Not much chance of pulling the hub away from the shaft, they are a very tight fit and an air chisel with a blunt end is the easiest way to remove them by pushing the shaft through. Certainly not a job to take on if you need your car on the road in a hurry

Shell there goes that plan!!! How much you reckon the damage would be for the job at a local Indy or just a normal garage as its not a massive 4x4 specific thing??? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
