Auxiliary water pump re pin z(supercharged)

Going through the forum last night and read about this
I thought it would be a good bit of preventative maintenance as my chassis number falls between the 2
Just about to start this morning and an idea popped into my head
How do I know if it's been already done or not ?
Are the wires coloured??
I assume it must be easy and say red should match red ??
What I don't want to do is find it's been done and invert antsy change it back
Cars had full dealer history so far do you think it will be recorded on LR records
Any advice welcome Growing old is compulsory Growing up is optional

Hi I did mine a few weeks ago I replaced the aux pump just to be safe side too. I found a very good technical bulletin on here through the search feature that gives you a step by step guide and includes the colour codes for re pin. Mine too had full LR history but had never been done.

Dave The difference between theory and reality is that in theory it will work.

I would recommend replacing the pump with a oe unit there not expensive and if it's been running backwards all it's life it's not going to do it much good suddenly turning the other way.
