I have recently bought a FFRR MY04 it came from an auction so just working through the inevitable to do list, however this seems mainly limited to the ICE system/s.

The TV tuner is missing, but as this would need upgrading to digital not hugely fussed but anyone suggest a good replacement.

The only sat nav discs with it are two 2004 ones for France so not much use as I live in Leicestershire again anyone know a good source for updates at a reasonable price.

Finally I can not get the CD cartridge to come out the player, the display states no CDs in the machine and when I push the button it tries to eject the cartridge. but it looks as though one of the individual CD holders(number 3 I think) is in the play position so effectively stopping the cartridge ejecting anyone have any suggestions on next moves.

firstly hi and welcome Gary!!

if you want a TV tuner you need to get in touch with forum member "Wiggs" (Adrian) he will sort you out i think.

in my eperience unless you can gently with something thin slide everything back in to place it is a changer out and top casing off to rectify that one.

A small long screwdriver normally allows you to slide the CD's back into the cartridge from the front if done carefully...

Tried screwdiver can't get it to slide back.

Followed the guidance to remove glove box last night, but can't get glovebox to drop.

The part of the dash that contains the passenger cup holder is stopping the glove box from dropping.

The guidance clearly shows it remains in situation but the glove box has a lip that sits behind it - so at a bit of a loss really.

Wil have to have another try at the weekend
