Sorry for all of these new owner questions (I haven't picked my car up yet and I've got too much time on my hands, clearly) but on a 2007MY car will the TV be digital?

Was it standard on the 07 S/C Vogue SE? If not, what are my upgrade options?

yes it should be, my 07 TDV8 has a digital tuner, but i have upgraded it to the newer one that displays the electronic program info.

I looked at a 56 plate (Dec 06) 07MY (Terrain response etc ...) SC 4 weeks ago and it had an analogue tuner and old style key.

IIRC there is a thread somewhere that tells you what VIN they changed to hybrid but definitely not all 07MY's had it.

I think all TV's are analogue upto 09my... Please correct me if anyone knows differently?

My 07 Supercharged has digital TV, although I couldn't say if it was factory fit. Also it's a bit stuttery too so I never use it.

Have a search in the wiki for its location, the hybrid is half the thickness of the analogue... If you need/want a hybrid one, send me a PM...

I did have a rummage Craig, but I must be being thick / blind as I can't find anything.

I'm guessing the tuner box is somewhere in the back with the nav drives etc?

I'm also assuming that if my TV doesn't work at all then it's probably analogue given that the digital switchover has just happened...? Past (too many to list, but a few favs)...

if you look in the cubby hole that houses the nav drive, look down into the hole and you will see a silver box with a couple of fakir type arial connectors a most conector and a power connector, obviosly a silver box. that is the TV Tuner. you should be able to read the label on it to and it will say hybrid tuner if it's digital.

Wiggs (Adrian) sells the newer hybrid boxes with the electronic menu display and they are plug and play..

i bought mine for my TD6 and swapped it into my TDV8. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
