"what is the strangest thing you have found whilst cleaning your FF?

I can start with a live shotgun cartridge i've had the FF nearly 9 months and only recently decided to fully valet the inside properly. I lifted the the rear seats, took out the boot liner/carpet and in the recess near to the subwoofer found the live cartridge. Obviously it was from the previous owner who was either a keen clay pidgeon shooter or a part time bank robber

I found a Pony Club gold pin brooch in my P38A when I cleaned up the insides.

In the FFRR £3.28 in change, four pens, and a playstation ! (OK I knew it had one but didn't know where) .

I suppose this isn't strictly during cleaning as such, but many years ago when starting work as a sales manager for one of the companies I worked for, I inherited a 2 year-old Alfa 156 as a company car. The previous incumbent was heavily into this pyramid selling lark and, once found out, left suddenly - apparently to retire.

So I get in the Alfa and, whilst bored sitting in traffic somewhere in Altrincham, switched on the stereo to find Radio 2. But instead of that, I got an eerie message through the speakers. The chap had left a 'get rich quick-mind-meld' CD in the Alfa's head unit and this had started playing.

The CD got binned after five minutes, I found Radio 2 and the Alfa was great in the way that Alfa's tend to be. Si. <This is my name.

Also if you are very nosey have a look at the previous destinations on the sat nav. I got to do it twice once with the original then with the replacement used unit.  Mine was a blue one!

I had an old Cortina (back in the day) that got stolen when my Dad borrowed it for a day. Phone call from the BiB to confirm they had found it ina carpark in Dover. Went down and picked it up (no damage but tried to remove my stereo) and drove away. Stopped a few miles down the road to have a good look over it and upon oppening the boot found boxes of chocolate bars and fizzy drinks.

Car had been used in a shop raid but the Bib forgot to look in the boot it appears for any signs of the theft.!

I found a gold and green coloured Barbour (as in wax jackets etc) pin badge in mine, the green sort of matched the car........

I once bought an AUDI but no matter how hard I tried to clean it I couldn't get rid of a smell of sick!
I eventually contacted the previous owner who told me that his baby daughter had been on the back seat & did projectile vomit of baby milk which went right between the seats & struck the windscreen & then ran down into the air vents He sold the car cos he couldn't get rid of the smell! I often wonder what became of that car
