SOLD - TVR Tuscan S - New toy bought

Sold, thanks Eugine for the contact, looks like I owe you a beer or two.

Well my wife is half way through passing her driving test and wants a Defender 90 for her first car - Can't fault her there.

So the TVR is going to have to go. Sad

TVR Tuscan S

Black

35000 miles, early service history with TVR then indépendant garages

Registered: December 2001.

Just fitted GazGold shocks and springs all round, new flexible brake hoses and the drag strut bushes. Will be in the garage next week for suspension set up and tracking.

New clutch and master cylinder done 4000 miles ago.

Tyres all good, only done 4000 miles, Vredestein Ultrac Sesenatas

I've just fitted the CATs again but have straight through adaptors should you wish to remove them ( I prefer them removed but the French MOT doesn't)

There is no UK MOT on it but there will be no problems there as it's going through the French one.

I'll change the oil and filter before it's sold.

It's located in France at the moment, there are airports close to me and I can collect and put you up for the night

Asking £15k ono or against an LHD Defender 90, money either way.

More photos on request

PM me if you have any questions.

Not at the moment but it was my plan, if I get a COC from TVR then I might go down that route, I have a KMH speedo plate ready to fit if I do.

But once French registered they do fetch more money as they're very rare over here.

If you'd rather keep your kidney, I can always do easy payments - one easy payment and it's yours.....

And yes it's the perfect accompaniment for and FFRR.

Open to offers, if you don't ask you don't get.

A beauty Mr. R. I love it.
Do you think you will get a COC for it and a French plate?
I ask this because, to my knowledge, this type was never imported in france officialy.
And being a real petrolhead I have had a few collissions with the reg offices in Perigueux, Barbezieux and Angouleme on cars that were registred in the UK but not typewise in France.
The French can be a real pain in the neck. We live here for 12 years now and we love it but the red tape here is worse as in Holland, the UK and Switserland all together.

I have spoken to TVR and they can get me a COC, although not a full European one. However two Tuscans have recently been registered in France, one in Angouleme using this COC.

I have also just received a KM/H speedo plate for it.

As you say it all depends on how you approach the people.

I have a French friend who loves his cars helping me at the moment.

TVR

Sounds good. It means that with a partial coc you will have to change some items, headlights or/and sidelights, speedo. Do you know allready what the others had to change to be conform?
My aston went through without a problem. For the Talbot I am waiting allready 4 months for a COC and that went through a friend at the French vintagecarclub. Got my MG TD up for sale now if she sells quickly I come back to you.
Best regards
Robert
