My steering wheel spokes had the rubberised black coating, and looked scruffy cos it wears away really easily. I spotted the satin chrome spoke covers on the bay - £39 free p/p and ordered a set.

They were a doddle to fit, being original LR bits, and really smarten up the feel of the wheel. The new covers fit perfectly, and the satin chrome matches the vent surrounds/door pulls etc. I can recommend this little mod - ten minutes to do, not counting the time following disconnecting the battery. There is a good how-to video on Powerfuluk site - but the covers are cheaper elsewhere on the bay.

Did Powerful UK supply you with the tool to remove the steering wheel airbag? I've never managed to find this tool anywhere else but it'd be handy.

I got some genuine ones from ebay for just shy of £10 all in but need the ff'in tool as i think its an allen or hex bolt but is very deeply recessed  FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I think i remeber from the vid its just a clip. Press a blunt tool into the hole and it releases the airbag, one hole each side. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Like T24RES says, use a blunt tool eg long arm allen key/ torx key, biggest that will fit, 3-4mm. You can feel the tab of the bag retainer about 60mm inside the hole. You are trying to push the tab off its seat, so keep the pressure against the upper side of the hole, so to speak. Apply slight pressure to the face of the bag while you release the clip...

Tried to fit mine today, couldn't gt the feckin airbag off, and to cap it off the horn has stopped working. The fuse is alright, F.F.S  gone fishin'
