My neighbours have just got themselves a Rooster. There are a fair few houses in the estate and the thing has not stopped crowing all day. It mystifys me why someone would consider a rooster as a pet in the first place especially within what was a quite estate. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

Just check your house deeds because now adays in some areas it could state that you are not allowed to keep live stock, pidgeons and for some reason store a caravan on your drive as mine do,, its worth a look mate then you could politly let them know Current Stable:

Yip, what m90got says is spot on.... My wife tells me a friend of hers at the other end of the village, 10 year old houses, wanted hens, but her deeds do not allow them. No caravans in the drive, 1 car(!) in the drive, no livestock, hens, pigeons etc... If you live in a built up area I would investigate this. Previously..

Being a little serious for a second Googsy, if you have urban foxes at all it won't be long before the little fecker becomes a meal. Hens are one thing cos they're quiet but noisy bastid roosters let the foxes know exactly where to come.

Complaining to the gardai won't help they don't give a s t but they will have it on record that u complained, then send a letter to ur local td or council bout it..

If you can't shut the rooster up then keep up with the Jones's and get a couple of peacocks, they make way more noise than a rooster and are guaranteed to make enemies of all your neighbours when they scream in the middle of the night! 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |
