Quick question..

I think I am missing one of these little things for my hi lo gear switches. Would a little piece of copper suffice instead? At the moment only the button with that thing connected will work so I assume its some sort of conductive thingy..it connects the two gold squares on either side of the circuit board..

Will save me buying a new unit..! Help appreciated..

Has it ever worked? I ask that as I broke one of my switches and ordered a new unit. There are 2 different part numbers for a small circuirt board behind the switches, and I had to swap mine over with the old one from my broken unit for mine to work. Easy to do as it was a few tiny screws and a plug. I still have the brand new one that came with the new selector. Reformed

Yes it worked, it was dismantled for vinyl wrapping..U might have what I'm looking for then.!

The tiny gold thing as pictured, is in the actual console behind the switches (not on the circuit board) are urs still there on ur spare console? Would u be willing to part with it? Thumbs Up

The only part I have now is the new circuit board that did not work, as mine was the older circuit board. (Part number FJV000255), I binned my old broken console after fitting the new one.

I think your idea with some copper would work as it is only to make contact with the board when the switch is pressed.

A bloody can of drink broke mine! Big Cry Reformed
