Piano black & carbon wrapped interior - water printing

So I went to local place bout getting interior walnut trim and silver parts black gloss and carbon fibre by water printing. Their work looked great. Priced me bout 280 for the whole lot including removal of the trim..! Too good to be true. Procedure takes bout 7-10 days. so I'm dropping car off tomo, they take the trim out then I can drive home. I'm trying to take some of the trim off myself, powerful uk have excellent videos, but for the lower interior door trim do I need to take whole door card off?

I'll post pictures when all done.

I think you need to take the whole door card off and access the screws that hold the outer part of the pocket to the door card. Once thats removed, then the wood might come off the outer part of the pocket. V8 or else ...

Door cards are not hard to take off. A few screws and the lower section sould pop outwards off the clips without needing to remove the whole card. With that access you may be able to get to the screws that hold the lower pocket on ( using a short screwdriver )

The RAVE manual doesn't seem to specify how the door pocket comes away from the door card ... just how to remove the whole door card. V8 or else ...

Hi Lolo, yes you need to remove the door cards and there are two 10mm nuts on each piece... One each end...
