Well er yes in a way the assembly coast of a Defender are higher due to the high amount of hand fitting but Development and componant costs are just a little bit more with a Range Rover ( it's rumoured the L322 was the first BMW product to excede one billion Dollars in development costs). I used to have one of those , long time ago mind , it sagged permenantly to one side and smelt like an old dog from all the leaks. Ah happy days we were all young once. 2008 MY Supercharged
