Whats this for?

I have whats looks like a plug for a better term just next to my rear interior grab handles.....anyone know what it is, it seems to have a spring loaded cover to keep it cleanyl recessed almost into the roof.

Think there is one either side. all smug in my new plug!

As Deep Down said - for the cargo net. Once the seats are folded forward, the cargo net clips to the top of the folded down seats, and then the top of it clips into those recesses. Thumbs Up

Well done chaps......that would make sense as it has the cargo net above the back bit already installed.

All that and not even a picture.....I'm impressed!! Thumbs Up all smug in my new plug!

Yup, 4 of them in pre 2008MY cars.

The ones behind the front seats were originally designed to hang the roller guard from, the lower part would slide into special brackets on the base of the upturned seats, sadly getting these brackets is impossible and therefore I never got to use these on my TD6. Discovery 4 HSE

There are a couple of plastic locating plates on the seat bases, or should be. It'll be obvious when you tilt the seats forward. Thumbs Up
