Having had a TD6 for some years i have now changed to the TDV8 and what a diffrence. So much quicker and smoother.

Thats normal , think it has to do with the EGR valve …. mine does that too |

Mine does that too. Assumed it was valves or flaps in the engine bay resetting. BMW used to make some funny noises as well when switched off. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
